Background & Introductions or getting behind the ‘Where are you from?’ question

Originally, I come from Lithuania’s capital Vilnius. To avoid the brain itch, ‘Lithuania… sounds familiar, where is it?’, I go ahead and burst the wonder: Lithuania is a beautiful, green, small Baltic state in the North of Europe. Yes, North, that is correct, or at least some of the classifications agree with me…

My husband is French, from the region of Bordeaux. Yes, the region of great wine and chateaux…

And just until recently we both used to live in Switzerland (the happy-French part, not the serious-but-economically-more-prosperous German part).

In the summer of 2017 – a big adventure came knocking our door. An opportunity in China came along my husband’s professional path. And we said yes. And this is how we ended up moving to Beijing.
